    At the height of his tournament playing John and his mixed doubles partner won multiple consecutive tournaments over the course of 3 to 4 years, winning mostly gold and a few silver. John also won gold and silver in men's doubles and singles tournaments. After playing tournaments, at which time he was rated a 4.5 player, John decided to devote his time to teaching.  

    Currently teaching at the Alto Lakes Country Club in NM on a regular basis
